Sheikh 'Abdul Bari ath Thubayty led Salaatul Janazah over his father last night after 'Isha. May Allah grant his father ease in the qabr and high rank in Jannah and may He grant the family ease in this time of hardship.
Abu Hurayrah (Radiallahu Anhu) reported that Allaah's Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alayhi Wasallam) said: "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islaam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'aa for him." [Muslim and others]
