Its quite weird, it seems that most of the imams are too busy to lead salat at the haramain, but still they won't appoint new imams
also, the fact that they resorted to Sheikh Aal Sheikh to lead fajr could only mean that Sheikh Thubaity will now not lead any Jahri Prayers. Surely this would have been the perfect time for him to lead
I agree with brother Moynul Islam. I'm positive Shaykh Thuabyti won't be leading anymore. Allah knows best. And I'm sure this was the first time Shaykh Husayn led Fajr Salaah.
The Imams take break before ramadan , so the likes of hudaifi , shuraim sudais mahir n budair all must be on break , n most have holidays right before n after ramadan , i mean those imams that lead taraweeh n tahajud.

This is not the first time that Sheikh Husayn Ale Shaykh led fajr,he led fajr before. The recordings could be found on the site inshaAllah.
Anyway I am so glad that Shaykh Hussayn lead the Fajr Salah, as you know as the saying goes...
