Sheikh Shuraim's recitation is always exceptional. At the beginning, I was surprised to hear another tune. I remember a taraweeh, he used this tune for the same surah, I think. Maybe that this video was posted by haramain.info. Allahu a'lam. Ramadan mubarak inshaAllah

Sheikh shuraim was absolutely amazing his rare tune is surely a voice that puts shivers through ones spine but yet with such smoothness he recited, truly beautiful specifically live was a treat.

Mashallah Sheikh Shuraim in Different tune.... but i miss his old tune in surah Tawabah...
MashaAllah, a huge surprise to hear Sheikh Shuraim's rare tone. Quite emotional, and beautifully recited! He last used this tone in the final few days of Tahajjud 1431. But it has been so many years since he used it in taraweeh. A rare, historic occasion today!

The last time Sheikh Shuraim used this rare tune was in the year 1434 AH, In Salaatul-Tahajjud!

Sheikh Shuraim last led in the rare tone on 29th Night of 1434 Ramadan. And the last time he read in this tone in taraweeh was on 12th Night of 1428(Surat Hud). That was after 9 years previously reading for first time in that style in 1419.

JazakAllah for the correction. the last time Sheikh Shuraim had used the tone slipped past my mind. I had used the tahajjud tabs in this blog to check, but i didnt realize there was no 1434 tajjahud tab on the right hand side. Also, i dont think ive heard the 1419 one. Can you tell which day it was or maybe provide a link of that if you have it?

There was extremely useful and convenient tabs on the left and right hand column of this site. However, the tab "Tahajjud- Makkah and Madinah" has not been updated after 1433. It would be nice to have it completely up to date like the other tabs like "Makkah Taraweeh", "Madinah Taraweeh" and "Ramadhan".
