Salam haramain team, according to the taraweeh rota night 2 taraweeh imams were sheikh Hussain and sheikh khalid muhanna ( the new imam). Confused what is happening?

Assalamu alaikum. Why is the witr audio starting from the 3rd rakaah?

Abu Abdullah said...

Yes, same question as last person asked,
Why witr started with 3rd rakah? I'd it started like that? Or is it missing in your recordings?

HR Staff said...

Witr was 1 rakah

The last time Sheikh Ayoob led in Masjid al Nabawi was in the early 90's.

A special night as Sheikh Ayub returned. MashaAllah, he still has a wonderful voice despite being old now. I had the privilege to pray behind him in Isha last year or so when he came to my country, at that time I was excited to be praying behind the Ex Imam of the Haramain. But now, he is no longer an ex imam, MashaAllah!
