Alhamdulilah, bittersweet moment that Sheikh Shuraim has led his last Taraweeh for the year 1435 (along with Sheikh Ghamdi and Baleela). From tomorrow onwards, InshALLAH, all the Taraweeh's will be lead by Sheikh Juhany & Mahir.

Wonderful recitation by both shuyookh. I just love all the Imams of Haramain. No words to describe their beautiful recitations;
however, Commentor Muzahid will try, and it is a little disturbing because his use of words are a little off.
In my opinion, simply saying Masha Allah Tabarak Allah, is enough...
No need to go into details like spongy, howling, etc...
What happened to Sheikh Sudais in Witr ?
Watery reflection!!! A great symbol of Allah’s special gifts to the Prophet Sulaiman [Asm.]
“She [the Queen of Saba] was asked to enter the [lofty] Palace; then as soon as she saw it, she deemed it to be a great expanse of water, and she [tucked up her clothes] uncovering her shanks [lower parts of legs]. He [Sulaiman] said: Surely it is a palace smoothed of glass [crystal]. She said, O my Lord! Surely I have done injustice to my soul, and I [now] surrender with Sulaiman to Allah, The Lord of the worlds.” [Surah An-Naml: 44]
@anon #4, assalamu 'alaikum. I do not want to place debate. I just express my feelings about different Qira'at. Possibly it is easy to realize that, Allah gifts different quality to different persons. So why can we not express our feelings? Such as howling means crying, weeping, tears ect.

You can continue your comments brother Muzahid. :) I would agree that howling isn't the best word to use. Crying, weeping, etc are better words to use. :)

@anon #8, for the last 10 days of Ramadhan of 1435, Sheikhs Shuraim, Sudais, Ghamdi & Baleela will only lead Tahajjud & as anon #3 said, Taraweeh will be led by Sheikhs Juhany & Mahir.
Dear HR Staff, is there books of other imams except sheikh shuraim?
Why cant the Shuyukh lead Taraweeh like in Madeenah? It has been 10 yrs that I didnt hear for example Surah Toor by Sh.Shuraim... i dont understand the intention of Makkahs scheudle...

I can believe this is Shk Shuraim's last taraweeh for this Ramadhan ��going to really miss his recitation, the last 10days of Ramadhan is coming upon us so quickly

Mashallah............ Sheikh Sudais changed his tone in 4th Rakaat very beautifully. very nice to hear...... Sheikh Sudais is a true living legend of Muslim Ummah....
What happened to Sheikh Sudais in Witr ? he was read 3 surah in finallay on witr?? why?? and make a short dua??

Muzahid is right about the fact that we should be able to express our feelings about the recitation of the Quran. I completely agree.
But what I dislike is that peolpe sometimes start using this site as a social network, saying that "I am an engineer", or the like and " I work here" etc. etc, as I read in previous comments.... And I don't think that's right.
I am glad that HR staff has had comment moderation enabled. It was a great thing to do.
Assalam. I think that Muzahid is right when he says that people are allowed to express their own feelings. And I also think that HR is right in that it is better that the "terms" used to describe the recitation be more relevant.
