Sister UmmSulaiman, the presenter who took the name Hashim was referring to the engineer of the radio station. The person who sings the nasheed> his name is not known. Also the nasheed was not live. Sheikh Khalid did not hear the nasheed either. It was an outside broadcast aired on radio, so the nasheed was played at the studio.
The original nasheed was sung for an Imam of Haram. I do not know which Imam and when.
mashallah i really like the nasheed, do you know who actually sung it or where i can get the whole nasheed from? jazakhairun
Shaiekh Khalid is coming to England in June or July in sha'a Allah.

Yes sir..it's in fact according to Shaikh Khalid himself...
He is my brother in law's nephew and I'll accompany him in his trip.
Could you suggest - by the way- what cities should we visit?
He will stay here for 10 days in sha'a Allah.

Sheikh Ghamdi was in Durban, South Africa on 4/03/2010. He led Magrib and Isha salaah. It was awesome. By the grace of Almighty Allah,I managed to see Sheikh Face to face as he walked to lead Isha. Can not discribe the feeling. He read very well masha allah!!!
wow he should definately visit london, i know many masjids which will love to have his visit in their mosque, pls get in touch with hr stuf for my email if you need any help etc, as im not allowed to give my email out on this blog
