Yes i did know that shaykh Qassim's father -shaykh Muhammad bin Abdur-rahman al Qassim passed away. May allah grant him the highest stage in paradise. When shaykh bin baz passed away shaykh Qassim performed that same friday's khutbah too & shaykh shubayl in makkah. That was in 1999.

shaykh Muhsin hardly gets emotional, compared to the other imams!!
i think i only heard 2 khutbahs where he is soo emotional!!!
