Just a general information; According to some sources, Sheikh Adel Al-Kalbani will be leading the Khatam Al-Qur'an Dua on the 29th of Ramadhan Insha'Allah. For the past several years Sheikh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais has been leading the dua.
We have added a poll for our viewers to vote whether they believe Sheikh Sudais or Sheikh Kalbani or any of the other imams will do Dua. It would set a new precedent if someone other than his Eminence Sheikh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais does the Khatam Al-Wur'an Dua. His melodious and emotional voice will surely be missed. We'll find out tomorrow Insha'Allah which Imam has the privilege to do such a noble deed.

I hope Sheikh Sudais does it, but if anyone other than Sheikh Sudais was to do it i hope it will be shuraim
Wallahu a'lam as to who actually WILL do the dua.
Now, if the question had been "Who do you HOPE does the dua?", then that would be a different matter....and I would have answered either Shaikh Sudais or Shaikh Shuraim.

But, maybe shaykh Kalbani will perform the 1st 10 units of the taraweeh, and Shaykh Sudais will perform the 2nd 10 units including khatm ul quran while shaykh Mahir might perform tahajjud prayers....i'm guessing according to last year if you get me.
Salaam i wish Sheikh Sudais give the duaa khatmal quraan same like last year and if he don't do it than it's not like Ramadhaan InshAllah he will do it:-)
Subhanallah, all of the Haramain Imamms are excellent. I will be satisfied with any of them, Insha Allah.
Inshallah it will be Shaykh S3ud shuraim. When you hear his du3a and his emotions carries you away. Also he has not led any of the witr this year which is a big shame.

Salaam Alikum Everyone well,, i think Imam Kalbani should be given chance to offer Khatam Al-Qur'an Dua.
well if u ask in general who should offer then,,,, i would definetly agree with the first (top) Anonymous said either it should be Imam Sudais or Imam Shuriam.
I want Sudais to do it. He needs to do it I love his voice. I mean hes does it every year I can remember and he's also been imam for over 20 years That would kinda suck if he cannot do it.
Of course we are satisfied with all the Haramain Imams but, Ya'ni Shaykh Sudais has always been there and no one can replace his AMAZING Du'aa. Shaykh Shuraim and Shaykh Sudais should lead the Khatem Salaah Insh'Allah. Just like the old days.
I don't know why but i'v always felt that shaykh Adil al kalbani would do the khatam dua. I don't know whether age is an issue here but shaykh sudais was the oldest before shaykh Adil started leading taraweeh. Wallahu a'lam. To whom i would wan't to do the dua either shaykh sudais or shuraim they both have amazing dua and emotion.
Salam, i think shuraim should be the one given chance to recite the doa especially during this part of ramadan . Shuraim has the melodic voice and his doa are all so emotional. It will softens the heart of the makmums when they hear it plus it will also rise the sense of taubat.Plus, all this while , most of the doas were being recited by sudais so i think it's shuraim's turn to recite it.yup.I've been waiting eagerly all this while for shuraim's emotional doa!!!
Sheikh Sudais has been making Khatm Dua for more than 15 years and I wish he makes Khatm Dua this year as well. Aameen.
SALAM. I really hope Sheikh Sudais will lead the Khatamul Quran Doa or Sheikh Shuraim.Both of them have beautiful voice and do their doa are so emotional..

shuraim didn't do any dua for a while
i hope shaikh sudais will do dua insha'Allah,
shaikh 'adil has started first ten rak'ats.
AoA...I hope n pray it's Sheikh Ul Islam Al Suddais who does the magical dua this year also insha Allah. Allah swt has put magic in his voice. I yearn to listen to him every day. Lets pray Allah gives him health wealth & happiness in this world & the next & same to all other imams, u, me & the entire ummah of Muhammad, sallalahu alaihi va sallam.
AlHamdulillah - so glad it was Shaikh Sudais! It just wouldn't have been the same without him. I've heard it said that he leads the duaa cos he's the best beggar (ie best at begging Allah SWT)! Wallahu a'lam.
It would be nice to hear Shaikh Shuraim do a duaa some time too.....

What does it matter who is going to do Khatam al Qur'an Du'a. As long it's being done that should be sufficient for the one who attends it.

I will be satsified by any of the Imam's. Muslim ummah is going through one of its worst time in history. I wish Allah listens to this Dua and instill the desire of acquiring knowledge and being practical so that we could live in this worlsd with dignity and honor
Slmz. First I thought Sheikh al Kalbali will make the dua but than when Sheikh al Kalbali read the first 10 rakaats I thought it would be Sheikh Maahir because it was his turn to lead the second 10 rakaats. and I was also wishin it cause Maahir is my favourite imaam. But I think age matter and ALSO like moonsatar said he begs' Allah in the best manner. Mashallah he read very nice!

why Sheikh Saalih Aal Taalib does not lead the Taraweeh in haramain shareef .Is there any reason ,kindly share the knowledge if someone knows.He is my fav imaam and fav reciter. Fabulous,amazing hearttouching heartmelting voice.
