isnt it a coincidence that on somedays the imams of masjid ul haram nd the imams of masjid ul nabwi recite the same surah or verses on the same day like on jummah surah kauthar was recited by both the imams and 2day surah isra from verse 9 onwards was recited at fajr in madina and maghrib at makkah. mashallah!
I've often wandered as well! It could be coincidence, OR maybe if there's a particular message Allah wants to be given out to people he puts the idea in their hearts to recite a certain surah. Allah knows best.
