Assalamaualikum...why are sheikh shuraim and sudais not leading salah these days in haram?...are they not in makkah?any idea when will they lead?I am only a few more days in haram and I so wana pray behind them...awaiting the reply..jazakallah khair
Sheikh Humaid is one of the four imaams for Fajr, and when he is present, he leads. Sheikh Sudais and Shuraim have other duties outside of the Haram, and at times give their turns over to the other imaams. And Allah knows best. :)
Just because Sheikh Humaid is leading, people are getting quite annoyed, he is not the youngest Imam therefore he cannot beautify his much so much like Sheikh Baleela, but we should all embrace it, it is the word of Allah, with melodious voice or non melodious it is still beautiful!
It is an honour from Allah to be Imam of the haram, so may Allah bless all of them.

Some were complaining and asking for Sheikh Mahir the other day when Sheikh Baleelah led.
