i love sheikh Mahir, but today's taraweeh was extreemly superb!!!! i was watching then i felt my self in JENNAH...mashaAllah jazakallah khair sheikh Mahir x
MashaAllah, Sheikh Maahir was truly awesome today! He has had some memorable ramadan nights, and surely this is one of them. Ever since he started reciting Surah Rahman...what a mind blowing, brilliant recitation of Surah Rahman..couldn't get enough of it! And then the amazing tone continued with Surah Waqiah and onwards. MashaAllah, a treat for the ears!

We may remember the unique juncture of the first revealing of the Sura Najm to the people in the Ka’bah. The month was Ramadan. That was the 5th year of Nubuwwah. There was a gathering in Masjid Al-Haram. Suddenly our Prophet [Sm.] started Surah An-Najm. The unbelievers had become puzzled excessively; also became silent. Moreover they went to “Suzzadan” with Allah’s Messenger [Sm.] at the last ayah “62”. But they did this unknowingly or in absent mind. Afterward they returned in Shirk/Kufr again.
We wish, Dr. ‘Abdullah al-Juhany will pray the verses of Surah Al-Fatiha separately like previous years; Jazakumullah.
The voicing of Surah Al-Waqi'ah is too moving in Makkah Taraweeh, 1429 by Sh. Juhany. There are sunny and dreadful sights mutually in this Surat, matching air as well.

I really loved the recitation of Sheikh Mahir, I watched it live n he was so unique and awesome.
Ya Allah, I miss these nights so much. I was there and completely elated, especially with sheikh Maher's recitation. This was so special. Everyone was just crying that day. His tone is so different and beautiful I wish he does more of this in the future insha Allah. The different tone starts in Surah Waqiah and continues and gets sooo lovely at Surah Hadid. Oh my gosh it's so beautiful just subhan Allah. And Alhamdulilah what a blessing sheikh Maher is.
