I was hoping that sheikh bandar would take sheikh Ghaamdi turn and not sheikh Juhani's turn.
Amazing recitation by Sheikh Bandar Baleela. Was waiting with anticipation of how the new Sheikh would recite. Totally blew me away with recitation of Surah Maryam. May Allah accept.
Subhanallah!!! Great taraweeh today. Both sheiks delivered so well. Alhamdulillah!! The new imaam- sheikh bandar recites very much like sheikh juhany but more slowly n calmly, in a peaceful manner. Allahu a'lam. As usual my dear sheikh ghaamdi was at his best. Emotional recitation. May Allah reward them for their efforts. Aameen

Sheikh Shuraim will lead on Night 17 next inshaAllah. Sheikh Juhany will lead tomorrow night the first ten, followed by Sheikh Baleela for the last 10 and witr.

I feel, and maybe wrongly, that the way some of the other comments are referring to the Shaykhs/Qari's is rather disrespectful and beyond correct etiquette.
I mean the manner of address is a little over the top in some of the comments.
The honour is all theirs to be able to lead the pray at Masjid al-Haram which I think they would attest to. May Allah accept it from them, and all the Muslims. Ameen.
can somebody tell how taraweeh will go on 20-30 night? who will lead?

very exciting times in the haramain. after many years of no change in taraweeh rotas things are changing up in a major way.
i think all the credit goes to sheikh sudais - ever since he became president, sheikhs hudaify and thubaity returned, sheikh shuraim began leading salah regularly again, he gave sheikh ghamdi a chance, and now he has recognized that that as the haramain is growing so should the number of imams (and muadhins).
the other benefit is that it can only ease the burden that has to be bore by the four imams that had to lead year after year after year. in the future i foresee 6 imams leading taraweeh at each site at minimum, which should allow for some very unique and interesting combinations IA.
things have come a long way from when it was just sudais/shuraim leading everything (even though that was amazing in its own right).
it seems every day presents a surprise. would totally not be surprised to see sheikh talib or thubaity pop up to lead taraweeh in the last 10 nights, for example.

Can any person forget the airing of the Sura Taha, Taraweeh 1427? Sheikh Sudais was the speaker, sea rolling regularly, emotive extremely, as like Sheikh’s nature. I got the reference at this night, last year, possibly from brother Ghali. Jazakumullah ahsan.
No, Sheikh Maahir will be leading on night 17 with Sheikh Shuraim. (I apologize, I earlier wrote night 18 by mistake.)
In Surat Al-Maryam, there are several different types of words and synonyms; such as “Fakulee”, “Washrabii”, “Insiyya” etc. In about all verses, there is a special design at the last word. And the word “Rahman” [Allah’s name] is applied here for 13 or more times. We should feel the enormously sorrowful condition of the ayah, “23”. As well there is absolutely joyful object next at the verses, “24-26”, Alhamdulillah.
I remember the Qira’ah [Al-Maryam, Taraweeh 1432] is breathtaking and touching even with huge sound problem of recording, Allahu Akbar!!! As well we may collect from the last year. At this night, the new Imam has spoken calmly and tune turned to rising from the 66th number; Zajhakumullah.
Acclamation to the new Imam, we want to know the details about him, Jazakallah Khair.

Amazing recitation by the new Imaam, Sheikh Baleela. He was absolutely wonderful, took his time and delivered a beautiful recitation, MashaAllah! Looking forward to hearing more from him.
Sheikh Ghamdi was beautiful too. So emotional. He is the most emotional imaam to lead in the Haram after the appointment of Sheikh Shuraim.
We must also acknowledge the sacrifice of Sheikh Sudais who has given up his taraweeh spot in order to give a chance to the new imaams. InshaAllah, Sheikh Sudais will be back in Tahujjud as per the unconfirmed news that has come so far. i always thought Sheikh Sudais has a big heart, didn't know it was so huge :) He could still have been easily leading the taraweeh instead of standing behind the imaams but he showed how humble and compassionate he is. Very exciting times ahead. First major shake up in the rota after many years!
The schedule for the next 3 nights if it isn't already clear:
16th night Juhany-Balilah
17th night Shuraim-Muaqiliy
18th night Balilah-Ghamidi
How I wish to see Shaykh Abdul Wali Al-Arkani and Shaykh Idrees Akbar as the imams of haram...but of course Allah knows best who to put as the imam of haram. All the best to the new imams. And I miss Shaykh Juhany!
BTW, have they been implemented as full time imams of haram or just for taraweeh?

why is he not coming last year 17th night taraveeh was led by Sheikh Juhany and Sheikh Sudais but this time everything has been changed.. a good change but Sheikh Sudais should lead after all these changes no one can take his place... hope so he will lead soon InshaAllah...

It is a true fact,there is no match for Sheikh Sudais.People really waits for his turn for the salah,hope he will be regular in the same manner as he was before.

I really liked the new Sheikh Bandar's recitation it was such
a surprise to watch him.
I am upset with the rota changing for tonight (16 night)
Sheikhs (Shuraim and Maher)but it is what Allah has willed,
and Insha Allah we can listen to Surah Muminoon, An-Nur and some
of Al-Furqan which is excellent and I will be very happy to
hear these Surah's as we have not listened it by these Sheikhs for
a long time.
Could Haramin Staff please confirm whether the last 10 nights
of Ramadhan will stay the same (regarding the Sheikhs) or will change.

i am agree with the anonymous ever since sheikh sudais has took over the charge the things have been changed very quickly. Sheikh Shuriam back to reuglar saalah, shiekh hudaify back after one year sheikh thubaity back after four years. Now our dear sheikh sudais sacrificing his own regular spot of taraweeh for new imaams. May Allah Almighty more bless Sheikh Sudais. Although it is a very good change but we are missing sheikh Sudais very much. Haram expansion, Mataf expansion project, Mataf Floor project, coming of new Imams and mudins in both haramain. it is all going to be part of history. we are all watching history. These are golden moments in our lives, May Allah grant us opportunity to visit haramain in this golden time
