alhamdulilah HR Staff my name is yahya yusuf i rely ask to HR why the sheikh mahir, sheikh juhany sheikh ghamdi sheikh ghazzawi and others not lead jumma,a salaah then last year we see the exchange the immas eg sheikh ghamdi he go to madeenah what of the madina imam not go to mecca? Jazzakumullahu khaira.
We cannot know for sure why the four newer imaams do not do Jumuah khutbah and salaah.
Sheikh Budayr has led in Masjid al Haram in Makkah. And many years ago Sheikh Hudhaify and Thubayty also led in Makkah.
My understanding is that the four newer imaams have not been appointed khateeb unlike the older imaams. Once they are appointed khateeb in addition to being an imaam inshaAllah, they will lead Jumma salaah
The Four Newest Imams are Juniors! And they are helpers for the Senior Imams.
For Example:
*Fajar duty is given Sheikh Humaid, but he's got a senior position in the Saudi Government, so he spends majority of his time in the capital Riyadh, so in his place Sheikh Juhany is the imam of Fajar.
*Zohar duty is given to Sheikh Khayyat, but since he's appointed as the Shaikhul-Hadith (Senior Hadith Scholar and Teacher) at Ummal-Qurrah, Sheikh Ghamdi then takes over the duty of Zohar.
*Asar duty is given to Sheikh Talib, but he remains busy in his jobs such as being the judge at Makkah High Court, so Sheikh Mahir is there for Asar, however Sheikh Talib will, at times be available for Isha prayers.
*Maghrib is led by Sheikh Sudais, however he's the President of Haramain, so Ghazzawi is there for Maghrib.
*Isha is generally led by Sheikh Shuraim, although of being an Imam, he is also a judge in Makkah, so Sheikh Ghamdi or Sheikh Talib will be imam in Sheikh Shuraim's place.

When Sheikh Humaid is in Makkah, he is the Fajr imaam, and when he was not, prior to Sheikh Juhany being appointed to Fajr, Sheikh Shuraim was. During that time, Sheikh Subayyal (Rahimahullah) was the 'Isha imaam, and Sheikh Taalib would take turns with him leading 'Isha.
Also, Sheikh Shuraim is no longer a judge. He is a professor at Umm al Qura and is a dean in the Shari'a faculty.
