This way of Witr is also from the sunnah, and it's not important to always do a dua. This is a forgotten sunnah and I'm happy sheikh budair done it alhamdulillah. May Allah accept all our Duas in Ramadan inshallah.
Its the sunnah not to make dua on every single night of Ramadan. Maa Shaa Allah shaykh Hudayfy was there and corrected a mistake towards the end of surah Yusuf. I wonder why he isn't leading given that he is in the masjed. I wonder if he is still barred from leading the prayers?
Masha'Allah, Sheikh Jannah's (Ghamdi)recitation tonight was just too beautiful! I haven't heard this classic tone in a long time. It's one of my two favorite tones of Sh. Ghamdi. I would love to hear him recite the entire qur'an in this tone, insha'Allah.
Lovely recitation by Sheikh Ghamdi, MashaAllah! I really like this tone..its one of his best ones.. I'm also really looking forward to his entire Quran recitation. That would be a real treat!!

Every year in the Haramain they skip a night of making dua in witr.
Sheikh Hudhaify is retired from leading.
