You are correct, he is reciting in the classic style of Sheikh Abdullah Khayat-MashAllah. His normal tune is also beautiful MashAllah.
Sheikh qasim reads very good i think Sheikh qasim should lead eid ul fitr and eid ul adha and jummah and fajr and isha and maghrib and asr and zuhur
