why they did not perform the prayer after maghrib like in meccah??? By the time they are performing his janaza prayer,i think he is already in his grave.
Salaatul ghaib is prayer in absentia, hence the ghaib, meaning that the body is not in front of you when you're praying for them. It is from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam), for he prayed salaatul ghaib for Najashi, even though Najashi was in Abyssinia.

It doesn't matter whether the janaza is already in the grave or not allahualaam

did he pass away in a foreign land or was he in saudi arabia? is it allowed to have more than one janaza prayer (ghaib as well) for a deceased?
