I think according to the usual rota, Sahykh Husain ale shaeikh's meant to deliver today's khutba, but apparently he was leading jumuah today in qatar.

what is the Shiekh doing before he climbs the minbar it doesnt look like he is praying can someone please answer this question
He might have been making Dua or giving salams to the prophet. Wallahuallam
I think he is just waiting ..so he can start the khutbah on exact time. Maybe he got there a few minutes early. Once he climbs the minar he cant wait there, so he is waiting outside.. i think... allah a3lam
