Anonymous 4, please provide references for that, i only know that, it is sunnah to read long surahs in fajr such as, from baqra to like the 40th or something, there is a name for these surahs which i dont remember, and in fajr, short sura's, and isha, surahs from the ending juz's, (also a name for these), all the names are related to lenth, so there is sura the Prophet (pbuh) specifically recited except for al-alaa and the one that comes after it
sheikh talib is holding a stick on friday khutbas like many other imams because its from the sunnah..i learnt that on here from our brothers and sisters :)

Don't know, that's how the station had it with the noise. They don't mostly read from Juz Amma.
You mean they mostly don't read from Juz Amma. :)
It's also sunnah to read from Surah Burooj to Surah Qadr in Isha and Surah Bayyinah to Surah Nas in Maghrib

on 6th april jumaah qutbah why sheikh taalib is holding a stick ? juma qutbah and juma salaat was very nice
its sunnah to hold a stick when the imam gives the khutbah,
it is sunnah to hold a stick during khutbah
He's holding a stick, because according to the hanbali mazhab, it is sunnah
the lenghh of surahs is called tiwaal mufasal,kisar mufasal etc is that wat u mean?

I didn't know it was Sunnah. But I never saw any other Imam hold a stick before. Any other video on this site where someone held a stick?
Sheikh Hudhaify used to at times and Sheikh Khayyat does as well.
