ولد في المدينة المنورة عام 1378هـ
تعين مؤذناً بالمسجد النبوي الشريف عام 1400هـ
غفر الله له ورحمه وأسكنه فسيح الجنـــات ,, ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
إنـــا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
وهنا أحد الأذانات الحديثة له
| سوف يكون العزاء بمنزله في المدينة المنورة
في حي الخالدية خلف اسواق بن داوود
Translation:
Tawasul News Channel- One of the Muadhins of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Hussein Hamza Afifi, who has been the voice of the Prophet's Mosque Mukabbariyyah for more than 30 years, after suffering with a disease for a long time has passed away. Amid the crowds of worshipers, pray for the deceased was in the Prophet's Mosque, before it was carried to his final resting place, as his body was laid to rest in a cemetery adjacent to the Jannat Al-Baqee' Cemetery.
The deceased hails from one of the oldest families of Hijaz, known in the city, where he was born Sheikh Afifi Hussein in 1378 AH in Medina and learning in schools and got on the stage of primary schools, with muezzin chosen in the mosque of Prophet Mohammad in 1400.
With the death of the muezzin Afifi, Medina has lost its second muezzin, as has already been called the Prophet's Mosque at dawn Wednesday, 26 January 1428, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Rayes, who died of illness over a period of two years.

Innaa Lillaahhi wa innaa ilaihi raajioon. I was just about to post a comment asking about where are the muuezzins Shaykh Hussain Afeefi and Saami Dehwali. Shaykh Hussain was honestly one of my favourite muezzins - i especially used to like the way he uused to say the first "ashhadu anna muhammadar rasoolullah". May Allah shower his innfinite Mercy UPON HIM, AND raise his ranks in Jannnnah. Aameen.

he's the luckiest man i ever know he was the muazzin for so long and he will be raised so close to nabi sallalahu alayhi wa salam on the day of qiyamah he is truly very very lucky mashallah

I hav heard that I'm not sure wheatherits hadith or not but the insects in the grave wont spoil the body of muazzin and shaheed and moreover muezzins neck will be the longest on the day of judgement
