The Imams have houses very close to the Haramain? They need to come on time and often but most of the nearby buildings are hotels... Do they live with their families or alone? I mean, sometimes, it's possible for someone to not be able to wake up for Fajr unless someone helps.
They dont have home very close to haram like the hotels. They live in aziziyah, mabdah, kudai etc. Which are about 10-15 minutes away from haram. They have to arrive early before azan to lead any salat. So definitely a difficult job.
When we went to Madeenah, we were told that the Haram imaams have offices in a building across from Masjid al Nabawi where they go and sometimes people can meet them there. I don't know if things changed. They don't live there, it's just an office.
And yes, they live with their families. May Allah reward them and their families. Ameen. It's easy to forget sometimes how much their families sacrifice time with them since they spend so much time teaching people the deen.
Mashaallah!imam is the best position n perfect job.in most jobs the father had to stay all day away frm his family.can u immagine the ajr for beiing imam of makka's haram? mashaallah..

The reward is far greater than the difficulties which are eased by Allah. So they live with their families or alone?
