second audio is not surah taubah, rather baqarah144-157. Could be a mix-up. Waiting for it to be fixed

Thanks for this, there is just something unique about live recordings. I don't know how to explain it, but it is just unique in its own manner.

salaam.

AWESOME! Masha Allah

I know what is awesome about this and the previous live recording from sheikh Qasim in Ishaa prayer a while back ago.

this is EXACTLY how it sounds when you are in the haram. hence, the sound is totally different then the audio/videos we see from the same prayers. just compare this with the video of the same prayer, you will hear the difference :)

brother Moynul Islam, jazak Allah and thank you for posting these. PLEASE post more in the future. this is the closest I can get to Madinah right now, as I remember when I was there for the first time this year in July, sheikh Qasim was the imam for all the prayers, and this is EXACTLY how I remember him, not the deviated sound from the videos/audios which is also very good, alhamdulillah.

and also, can you do some recordings from shaykh Budair's fajr prayers and the other imams? I think you use an audio recorder for this, this is why the sound is so different? How far away are you from the speakers and where is your audio recorder placed? what recorder is it?

sorry for all the questions :)

It's true...easpecially madinah, theres a huge difference between the TV and the actual live atmosphere. My recorder is the Olympus DS40. It's not the best of recorders, but is sufficient for me. I try and pray near a pillar (which has a speaker on it). I keep my recorder in my chest pocket
