Salaat al istisqa is a sunnah prayer to ask for rain I think :)

Sheikh Shuraim Will Inshallah Lead The EID Salaat Too.

MASHALLAH!

Was really surprised to see that Sheikh Shuraim is back!

I hope he continues to lead namaz!!

and Salat Istisqa is offered to ask for rain at times of drought and no rain in near future.

why have they removed all the carpets around there and sealed it all off? The haram is already so busy with hujjaj, and so this restricts space for them even further.

Anon, its restricted only for this prayer I believe. It will be open once again as usual

Why did the people in the first row take off and re-wear their dress at the end?

It's Sunnah to turn the outer garments inside out and put it back on and make dua.
