why have they removed all the carpets around there and sealed it all off? The haram is already so busy with hujjaj, and so this restricts space for them even further.
Anon, its restricted only for this prayer I believe. It will be open once again as usual

i remember crying when listening to this khutba live =')!!! and cried during the whole salaat istasqa!!!!
Why did the people in the first row take off and re-wear their dress at the end?
It's Sunnah to turn the outer garments inside out and put it back on and make dua.
