He sounds just like Sheikh Juhany!
Sheikh Juhany used to lead at Masjid Quba with Sheikh Ayub I think, and that's why you can hear Sheikh Ayub's tune every now and then in Sheikh Juhany's style.

Salaam. Very beautiful and I definitely hear subtle "Juhanyisms" in Sh. Ayyub's recitation here. This is probably why Sh. Ayyub is my favorite in Madinah and Sh. Juhany is one of my favorites in Makkah (but Sh. Ghamdi is still the best). To annonymous above, Sh. Ayyub is one of the imaams in Madinah at Masjid Nabawy.

Assalamualaikum! Is shk. Khalil alqari alive. Where does he leads taraweeh. This year i went to masjid quba in order to pray behind sh.Ayub but he was not there. On enquiring i came to know sheikh khalil and sh.Hudaify's son leads taraweeh there. But i dont know is he the same sheikh khalil qari who was the teacher of sh. Ayub. Can haramainrec... clarify?And where is sh.Ayub leads taraweeh and prayers nowadays?

What does Shaykh Muhammad do? Is he a teacher at Madina University?
Yes, Shaykh Muhammad Ayyub is a Professor at the Islamic University of Madinah, in the Dept of Tafsir

Indeed he is my favorite recitor. His teacher was shiekh Muhammad khalil al qari who's sons lead prayer at masjid quba and masjid qiblatain. Their names are sheikh mahmoud khalil al qari and sheikh muhammed khalil al qari. They as well as sheikh juhainy (who was a student of sheikh mohammed ayyuub) have a similar style in recitation.
May Allah increase them all in reward
