The shaykh is originally from Hufuf region in KSA but has family is Buraidah which is the capital of Al-Qasem region. Many scholars are from this region. During the last days of Ramadan the shaykh was spending time with his family in Buraidah. The shaykh still comes to Hufuf and often recites in his local masjed which is close to his family home- its more like a small town/village. salam
