Actually they do not exit/leave from bab ajyad, but from bab ismaeel, which is close to it, then the place they are going to (as u see in the vid) is the imam's compound which has rooms for the imams and guest rooms, they can spend the night if they wish, but in the back there is a garage and their cars are parked there and sometimes after salah, they go home. Their houses are like 15-20 mins away from the haram or more for others

Assalamualaikum!! I would like to share something. I was in makkah for umrah this ramzan. After ramzan sh. Khayyat led one of the juma. It was friday and sh. Khayyat led the juma salat. It was time of asr salat and i left from my hotel tala badr which is far from hotel massa but in the same lane just opposite to king palace. I prayed salat on road and was on the way to haram. No soon i had reached the king palace gate then i saw a mercedes car coming out from palace. I saw a arabi driving car. Was suprised to see sh. Khayyat sitting next to him. I suddenly said salam to him . The car stopped and he opened his cars window took his hand out to have a handshake. It was my luck that day a imam approaching his hand to have a handshake with me. He smiled and the car left from around safwah towers. Really very best experience.
