Ramadan Mubarak!

It has been confirmed that the official decision and announcement of the High Judiciary Council of Saudi Arabia that since the moon of Ramadhaan was not sighted this evening, here in Saudi Arabia, we shall be completing thirty (30) days of Sha'baan (1432 A.H.), in accordance with the hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam):
Fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you, then complete thirty days of Sha'baan. And break your fast when you see the crescent. If it is obscured to you then fast thirty days. [transmitted by al-Bukhaaree and Muslim].

Taraweeh salaah will begin on July 31st.

The Haramain Recordings team wishes you all a very blessed month ahead. May Allah strengthen us in our imaan, and accept from us our deeds.

Asalaamu alaikum everybody,

I have a widget on my internet browser that tells me what phase of the moon it is, and it says that tonight (the 29th Sha'baan here in the US) is the waxing crescent. Therefore, I know what phase it is even without seeing it. Should I begin fasting tomorrow or wait for the 30 days of Sha'baan to be over? Jazak Allah Khairan, and have a blessed Ramadan :)

Peace and blessings be with you always

Assalam. I was there in Makkah last Ramadan. Performing umrah during Ramadan was the best thing ever happened in my life. But this year it's not my rizki to fly there again due to financial shortage. SubhanAllah how I miss to be there again at this very time, the most awaited month of each year.
