I had idea about it because from past two or three years it is going. One night is Sheikh Shuraim & Sheikh Muqali. Second night is Sheikh juhhney & Sheikh Sudais. I love Sheikh Sudais & Sheikh Shuraim. Umar Nisar, Depalpur, Pakistan.
Allaahu akbar! THank you very very much HR for the news! However, as for makkah, we all expected the same! What about madeenah, is there another surprise this year? I expect Sheikh Khaalid al Ghaamidi this year too.. His recitation goes very very much with the atmosphere in madeenah!
i'll really love it if Sheikh Shuraim recites on odd nights. last time he did it was many years ago!

asak, can't we have all the 4 imams making dua turn by turn- for instance Night 1 - sheikh juhany & sheikh sudais (dua), Night 2 - sheikh Maher & sheikh shuraim (dua), Night 3 - sheikh sudais and sheikh Juhany (dua), Night 4 - sheikh shuraim and sheikh Maher (dua)... we need to hear all the mashaikh's duas.
as far as i know...there are reasons behind why the selectors of imams for particular jobs choose what they do..It clearly states in the interview of sheikh shuraim "What is the reason for so few qunoots in the past years in Ramadhan? The reason for that is that my desire is not for qunoot." (from Haramain recordings) Thus before making any decisions all matters are taken into consideration... I'm assuming sheikh juhany is probably still studying due to his youngest age... Wallahu'a'lam but lets not try to get in the way of such big choices made by such shareef people! No offence intended
