Dr.Bakri Bin Matooq Asas-President of The University of Umm Al-Qura announced that Sheikh Dr. Saud Ash-Shuraim the dean of Studies of Islamic Sharia promoted from professor to a Specialist professor in Fiqh. Sheikh Shuraim the well known Imam of Masjid Al Haram received many congratulations from colleagues and friends. Sheikh Shuraim showed his gratitude and humbleness to all his colleagues. 6/26/2010.

MashaAllah, Many many congratulations to sheikh shuraim! Allah has really blessed him! He really is a role model and a source of inspiration for Muslims worldwide.
But I also hope this doesn't mean that he would be leading prayers in the haram even less than what he is at present.

WALLAHI we just started Taraweeh Yesterday, and try to immitate Sheikh Shuraim, whenever I feel nervous, I just imagine how he Leads in Taraweeh at Haram Leading Millions of People, Allah makes easy for me.
