News the Haramain Team forgot to mention is that the last sheikh whom Bro Umayr is referring to (the sheikh who now comes on taraweeh videos in a wheel chair) has passed away. He was a great sheikh, he was 93 years old. He died in mid-November 2009. At this point in time, I can not recollect his name, but I will try to post his name and some info about him. May Allah swt bless his grave, the graves of all the great shuyookh and the graves of all the Muslims with nur. Ameen
Salam his name is Shaykh Muhammad Al-Banna (Rahimuhullah) he passed away shortly after ramadhan in Jeddah (where he lives). Hes an Egyptian scholar who was invited to teach in a university (i cant remember) by Shaykh-Ul-Islam Ibn Baaz.
The name of the Sheikh who passed away was Ibn 'Abd al-Wahhaab Marzook al-Banna. May Allah have mercy on him. He was there every year in the taraweeh for all 20 rakats, subhanAllah.
Thats so sad! may Allah grant him jaanat-ul-firdous. i was always so impressed by him. He always used to catch my eye..that such an old man, yet he never misses any taraweeh! :(

May Allah have mercy on Sheikh Muhammad AL Banna , his brother is still alive and a sheikh as well , May Allah protect him... The late sheikh was 93 at death n a great scholar of his time.
What a beautiful video, Sheikh Shuraim is sooooo amazing!! He always recites from the heart; and he makes you cry.. May Allah bless my beloved Sheikh Shuraim and grant him jannat al firdaus. And omg, that's so shocking!! May Allah grant the sheikh that passed away jannah and forgive all his sins. I'm going to miss seeing him at the back behind Sheikh Shuraim in taraweeh. :(
