New Imam Rota
According to uncofirmed reports, the following is the new Imam Rota:
The First Rotation is from 11th Rajab to 21st Rajab when Sheikh Sudais and Muaiqily will lead; Sheikh Sudais will lead Fajr and Dhuhr and Sheikh Muaiqily will lead Asr, Maghrib and Isha Insha'Allah
Second Rotation is from 22nd Rajab to 2nd Sha'ban when Sheikhs Khayyat and Ghazzawi will lead Insha'Allah. We do not know who will lead the Jahriyya salaat; it seems Sheikh Khayyat may lead it.
Third Rotation is from 3rd Sha'ban to 28th Sha'ban when Sheikhs Shuraim, Talib, Juhany and Ghamdi will lead Insha'Allah. Once again, we do not know who will lead the Jahriyya salaats, and whether that will rotate amongst these chosen shuyookh or not.

If this source is legit, then FOR SURE Shaykh Khayyaat will lead Jahriyy Salaats. Since right now it's just Shaykh Sudays and Shaykh Mu'ayqly, and they both do Jahriyy Salaats. JazakAllahu Khairan for the info.

It's a shame 1st rota won't last for long.Only for couple of weeks!!!! but neverthless ramadan is just round da corner. so i am excited already very much looking forward to listen taraweeh from haramain sherifen...especially from my beloved sheikh maahir....long may he live...Aamin.

why does it matter so much who will be leading the salaats? I am from saudi arabia, and its well known here that the schedule is based on other factor such as availability, other work commitments, etc. Most masajid here in saudi have at least a couple of shoyookh to rotate the salats and khutbah. Alhamdulillah we have many shuyookh under the sky here in saudi! We have a local masjid nearby whose imam is Sheikh Muhsin Al Harthy- i would advise you to try and listen to him. His recitation and ilm is beautiful and it is possible that he will be a future recitor at the haramain. You can listen to him on islamway.com. Barakallahu feekum.!
jahri salat refers to fajr, maghrib and isha, I am very pleased about hte second rotation, I expect Sheikh Khayyat will take over Sheikh sudais's shifts, i.e. lead fajr and Zuhr..
jahriy salah is the salahs that u pray loudly.
I dont fink these new sources r true it seems abit funny how can anyone get the rota it just does not seem true.
also you will soon see that salih al talib will be leading and ghamdi and everyone.

I really hope that Sheikh Ash-Shuraim gets the Maghrib slot. We can then listen to his slow recitations of short surahs from Surah 78-114 and other excerpts of al-Qur'aan like Ayaat al-Kursi, 24:35) on a regular basis in shaa Allah. I prayed two consecutive Maghrib with him leading the prayer in July 1999 and I passionately remember the recitation of Surah at-Teen and al-Adiyat.
excited to hear that the my best recitor shuraim is going to be back inshaAllah in 3rd shaban. I wish he stays the whole year long Ameen! and i get chaannce to see him in makkah!!

it's surprising that there's no mention of Sheikh Humaid, so they're not expecting him to lead fajr at all. Although I expect he'll lead through the whole of ramadhan like last year..
east or west- Sheikh Shuraim & Sudais are the best !! So beautiful and powerful voices - no match to these 2 anywhere in the world!! May Allah give barakaah to them and let us benefit from them. Any news about Sheikh Kalbani?
the 3rd rotation is incorrect plz make sure that when will sheikh juhany come back again he leads for 3days i,m very upset is he fine or has urgent work i,m waiting 4him
