I also shook his hand like everyday after asr prayer , when i went for umrah last year he was leading asr and here is a good way to shak his hand ,

After Every prayer there is Janazah( funeral) prayer , and for that the sheikh goes back close to the spot where they lead the taraweeh , and they bring the deceased and place them infront of him , well after the janazah it is easy to shake his hand , also sheikh usama abdullah Khayat was leading dhur prayer and the same way it is easy to shake hands with him also.

the guards if they can see you just wana shake the hand they usually dont panic , and specialy in asr and dhur , coz it is notr soo crowded as ishaa maghrb etc.

alhamdulillah...when he walk to lead maghrib prayer he come from the palace i guess...the police give me permission to do that...i ask the police behind him...who is he..imam say the police...then i follow him to salah...for info i also get do that with sheikh juhany and sudais...that all my best ever experience...

there are always guards with the imams during every salah..usually two or three..you usually walk with them or behind them, and then leap infront and say sallam and move out, or you can wait outside the palace for them to come out with their guards, thats the best time in my opinon..

I remember once, when I was little back in 2002 or 2003, I went up to Sheikh Shuraim after his Khutba tul Jumu'a, and I talked to him Alhamdulillah.
