I was just wondering, is it allowed to read 20th Juz then 12th Juz? I thought u have to keep qiraat in order.

you are right. but it is makruh and not haram. it is better if you recite in the order of the suras but it is not a sin if you don´t do so.

it is preferred to read in order however, it does not effect the validity of the prayer if the order is disrupted. And Allah (SWT) knows best
