Assalam-u-Alikum Its your Sister Rafe'ah here, i just wanted to tell everyone that his (that is, Sheikh Abdul Waali Al Arkani's) voice doesnot resemble like Shiekh Juhany, mayb over here it does, but in actual i think i doesn't cuz i have his recording, i recorded from the radio and i also have his casette, InshAllah i will soon send his recording to Haramain Recording
Simply amaizing voice and the way he recites it jst touch ma heart deep down he is ma no2 fav recitor behind sheikh maahir...i think he can be a part of our haramain group of imams...it would be awsome if he gets chance to come nd join....aah nd one more thing i think his tone is different to sheikh juhany.
Im so amazed that peole think he resembles Juhnay, I disagree , i have about 22 surah from the sheikh , available at mp3quran.com and other websites and he sounds very unique , yes he is energetic and has the similar pitch to sheikh juhany but he has his own style , the way he recites in truly unique i just dont see the junay resemblance , well atleast not that much , like brothers here have been saying it.
He is one of the best reciters in saudi now , along with luhaidan , subayee and nasir qatamy and kalbani offcourse
