Sheikh Minshawi was born in 1922 in Egypt. He was famous for his sweet, melodious voice. Sheikh Minshawi also taught one of the known Qari Abdul-Basit Abdus-Samad.

Salaam. Minshawi did not taught sheikh basit, I asked sheikh yasir and he denied it.
