I was crying when saw Ghamdi led Maghrib instead of Maahir. But, Alhamdulillah recitation by Sheikh Ghamdi also beautiful as Sheikh Maahir. We can watch previous recordings if we miss Sheikh Maahir and pray he will be back soon.
Yes when i was in Umrah this year sheikh Ghamdi was leading ASR prayer and after the prayer there is usualy Janazah Prayer and i used to shake his hand afterwards , a very humble person MAy Allah reward him
Me too, I had the same feelings .I was waiting Mahir 4 a long time ,and he didn't complete at least a week.. Iam very saaaaad:( I wrote about this be4ore but no one replied me.. I just wondering what happened to Sheikh Mahir? :(

Very sad to see mahir go within few days of coming back for prayer's, I don't know why he get's lesser salat's then everyone else.
