Please forgive my ignorance but why is there never any Asr prayers ever shown from Makkhah or Madinah. I would be grateful if someone wopuld tell me.

Dhuhr and 'Asr are silent prayers, so they don't show it. I think they do air the adhaan but not 100% sure.
