Masha'Allah Shuraim sounded so much better when he was young, can't believe you guys have the full Quran from when Shuraim was this young.. can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'd be very happy if you could share the rest of the surahs with us.
I remember a recitation of the same Surah in the first rakah of a Fajr salat sometime in 1420 during the autumn/winter season, and that was amazing. He also recited Surah al-Mulk during the same week I think, and it was another excellent recitation in which he articulated all the madd as in the case of this Surah as well. He recited all of the thirteenth ayah continuously and stopped only at the end of the ayah. I listened to those recitations on a Saudi TV live streaming audio.
It'd be nice to know who's behind this blog. I've been coming on this blog for 3 years, and I've heard of the names Najiullah and Ibn Muhammad, but I really don't know who they are and are they the ones behind this blog? Hope this isn't disrespectful or anything. JazakAllah.
Sheikh Shuraim undoubtly is the best,his recitations touch peoples heart so much i even shook his hands very humble person that's why he is liked by evry1.
sheikh shuraims old and new recitations are all unique. Since we don't know arabic very well, we can't understand as to what he implies by his reading. If you know arabic, i think u will love his qirah more than any reciter as he brings up quite deep meanings of the quran through his recitation.
Come on now don't go saying "Shuraim was better back then". Shuraim was good then and is still good. I really like his recitation from 1412 taraweeh a lot (find on youtube). But I dont like when people say he was better 20 years back and now he is not good.
wow..this looks very old... and i agree,you guys should'nt just say you liked his recitations better then,there awesome no matter from when they are! if you guys want to listen to some AMAZING recitations,go on youtube and type "shuriam best recitation"-at the top there is one i've prob listened to 100 times-it's tht good,and if you scroll down there will be one from 1998 which is just 2 aweesome!

yes this is saod shuraim brother Najiullah who was admin of this site has full Quran i will contact him soon for other verses.

I totally agree with u,he is really 1 of the best he recites straight from the heart,nd he also recites more deeper than anybody else.
