It is well known that the appointment of imams of the Haramain Mosques is issued by royal order from the Saudi monarch King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

there are now 10 imams in the haramain maybe they should move a few medinah, seems they need it as Shk Huzaify is leading most their prayers there, what happened to sheikh Budair, Khayyat, Subbayil they never lead no more

What was happen at haramain mosque now?? There was a lot of imams there. In my opinion, they can't add more imams there because the imams now is more than needed.. They should be move somewhere else like madinah or somewhere else. I think the royal have to think again about this..

The present King knows what is needed for the haramain....and there's no need to assume about those affairs.
May Allah grant King Abdallah long life, for all his afforts and goodness.
Whazz it King abdullah who told them 2 be imam of haramain??
They have to put in an application, which is reviewed by a committee. It's all narrowed down to specific people who meet all the qualifications, and then yes, the king has the final say.

I was in Makkah during the Hajj 2008and had the honor to experience the prayers led by Sh Ghamdi. The expereince of especially Fajar, December 1, 2008 was out of this world. Thanks a lot to this great team for maintaining this great site. I hope you know what it means to thousands of people like me. May Allah give you ajar for this.
now in 1430 taraweeh my suggestion is to keep dr khalid instead of shk kalbani.
MashaAllah,all imams has great voice I was in mecca duing haj 2002,till now I can still remember how they leads prayer.
