Admin can you please help me in a problem I observed. Some of the Imams when they read the verses such as 'Yaa Baniii Israa Eelaa' They do it short, it is supposed to be 1 second for Yaa, 3 seconds for Banii, 4 seconds for Israa, and 1 second for Eeela. The long and short rule are important and part of Tajweed and Tarteel.
May Allah guide us all in reading Quran properly :)
Concerning your question about tajweed, there are different styles of tajweed,the one used now is riwayatu Hafs an Aasim,it has two different styles of reciting the madds,you can shorten the madd aj jaaiz and thats the one Sheikh Khalid has recited with.
Ok thank you, but I think there should be 1 style of tajweed for everyone or it just confuses people.
