pls correct me if i am wrong but i never heard imams say basmallah before surah at haram. but here we hear clearly from Sheikh Sudais

Definitely sheikh sudais is amazing all the time.
Yes brother, imams of al haram do say bismillah before the surah. I myself have heard it during makkah taraweeh lead by sheikh sudais.
