Note:I edited the athan from the lecture. To make it easy for people who are looking for athan only.

I was wondering if this is actually Sheikh Maahir. I am sorry to question, I don't mean it in a negative way but it just does not sound like Sheikh Maahir. I was also wondering what the occasion was for Sheikh Maahir to give this Lecture and Athan. I was also wondering whether this was a recent lecture or was recorded a while ago. Please let me know...
Shukran, Was Salaam U Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahhi Wa Ta'la Wa Barakaathuh.
Yes I believe so this is Sheikh Maahir(Allah{SWT} knows the best) But I'm very sure about this lol. I know it does not sound like him. His athan and his recitation necessarily should not sound same. But I still see some similarities. Also this was from Sheikh Maahir's visit to Japan in July 2008.
Masha Allah It sounds like shiekh maahir 99/100 similair to his recitation but igher pitch here.... Masha Allah shikeh maahir is tryng to be a muadhin here........so of course is going to sound like this... masalaaama
Assalmuallykum.. Sorry to sound very negative..but this is 100% and most definataly NOT Sheikh mahir...Sheihk Mahirs voice is VERY different...also is it possible taht you post the whole lecture with that adhaan..Nevertheless Jazakallah hu khair for the post Wassalm
Just because it doesn't sound like his recitation doesn't mean its not him. You can tell its him because most Imam/Hafiz can not give such a beautiful azan. Giving a good azan is an art of its own.

This is NOT Sheikh Maahir calling out Athaan and this lecture was delivered by Sheikh Maahir in Kholays, Saudi Arabia a few years ago...
