Why is the shiekh wearing ihram but when he was doing the khutbah on friday he didn't wear?
It was beautiful khutbah and very emotional and the best part was i got to watch it live!!

..Friday was 9 Dhul Hijjah also known as Arafah Day.. those doing Hajj must be in Arafat wearing Ihram.. there's no Friday's prayer in Arafat.. they performed Dhur & Asar combined with 2 raka'at each..
..hmm Sheikh Shuraim may have performed Umrah during Eid al Adha.. walAllahu alam..

And yeah, Al-Sheikh Saud Al-Shuraim may had intentioned to perform 'Umrah 'Ibaadah (worship) afterwards or maybe he had done it already as Al-Hamdu Lillaah (All-Praise & thanks to ALLAAH) we know that Saudi Arabia's and/or Salafi (those who follow the teachings of Sahaabah [companions of the final Prophet {Peace be upon him}] and their successors very closely to understand the glorious Qur'aan and Ahadeeth/Sunnah) 'Ulamaa (Scholars) and Du'aat (Caller/inviter to Islaam's message) do not mislead or do anything which is beyond the teachings of Islaamic belief and monotheism, neither Al-Hamdu Lillaah they do any hypocrisy by saying/teaching/preaching something and then practicing on it differently. That is not the case anyway, In Shaa ALLAAH!
So, there is no need really to question his wearing of "Ihraam" on Eid AL-Adhaa exactly. Hope that this reply makes the questioner understand that to not take things negatively when heard/seen something unusual and unexpected. In fact, he/she should have "Husn-e-Zann" i.e. Good will thinking or having the positive side of the thinking.
May ALLAAH save the Al-Sheikh from the evil and all trials, and reward him with Khair for his efforts and services for Muslim Ummah to please His Rabb (Lord of all that exists). Aameen.
