Masha'Allah. The first time I heard Sheikh Ghamdi recite was while I was at Hajj in 1430. He was reciting from Surah Al-Hajj at 3Isha' and he has been my favorite since then. Nice to hear him reciting from Surah Al-Hajj again and it brings back fond memories of the trip of a lifetime. May Allah bless all of us with the opportunity to visit His House Al-Bait-al-3Ateeq again. Ameen.

MashALLAH you got a change of doing Hajj, may Allah SWT accept your Hajj and give the chance of performing Hajj to everyone else. Ameen

also, when you and others say ""Surah Al-Hajj at 3Isha" and "His House Al-Bait-al-3Ateeq again. Ameen."...the "3" in those words, what does it mean? and what language is that? I have seen people use "3" in words in other comments but i never understood where it is supposed to be used.

3 = the letter ayn in Arabic.

Wow, that was my original comment from last year and I was just searching for Sh. Ghamdi and I saw your response and questions above.

Ameen to your du3a and may Allah grant me the opportunity again and all muslims the amazing experience, insha'Allah.

As the Staff said, "3" is shorthand for "ayn." "7" is used for the letter "ha" and "2" is used for the letter "hamzah." This is for transcribing arabic letters to an english keyboard.

And I think Allah must have answered your du3a because He let me go back to bait-il-3Atiq a few months ago AND HE LET ME PRAY BEHIND SHEIKH GHAMDI for 3 nights right in front! Alhamdulillah.

BarakAllah feekum.
