Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullah Mash'Allah, Sheikh Ghamdi is showered with enormous Rahmah; Rahmah just overtakes his state, emotions, and expressions; Rahmah which goes beyond the absorption of one’s soul. Once in this state, one can not hold back tears and hence he sheds tears. If someone wants an in-depth understanding of this, then try understanding the story between our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Jabreel Aleyh Salam in their first meeting at the Hira Cave. There are several such incidents of Ash'aab and other Prophets prior to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). If, we think and try imagining such circumstances at least, then we shall know what must have caused it and in simple term it was mainly Rahmah of Allah SWT over his beloved ones. I could go on and on over this but will not cause confusion to our brothers/sisters. I will only pray that may Allah help us all understand such circumstances and bless us the ability to vision it beyond to understand in its best extent. Praying during Sah'ur/Taha'jud would be an ideal time to ask Allah for more insight of this. -Ameen
