The Imam's name is Sultan Al-Rukaan, his recitations were posted before on this site. He is Imam of Masjid Al=Raashid Bal-Khair

Inshallah I will find out that info and try to get more recordings.. By the way it can't be Sheikh Sultan Al-Rukaan... In my opinion this Imam is not even trying hard to imitate him, his voice when he recites clearly just comes out and sounds exactly like Sheikh Ali Jaber (Rahimullah)..
And Mashallah...

BTW Sheikh Al-Rukaan's recordings can be found here (below) as you can see it is not the same.. Mashallah!

Asalaamu3alaykum, dear brothers and sisters and HR Staff. I would appreciate your insights on the following problem:

When I am praying alone, I can take my time and enjoy the salaah with khushu3 and really feel Allah's presence in the mi'raaj of salaah. However, many times, when praying behind an imam who recites quickly, I have to struggle to keep up and after the salaah in jama3ah, I feel no different than before the salaah.

Because there is so much reward in congregational salaah and due to the many ahadith that speak of the benefits of salaah in congregation, I feel that I must still perform salaah in jama3ah. However, because of the internal peace I feel and because of the true connection I feel with Allah when I pray at my own pace, I feel like the salaah has a lot more value when I pray alone.

Please help me with your insights here and any ahadith or authentic commentary on this problem.

JazakAllahu khayran wa barakAllahu feekum.

Wassalaam.

JazakAllah khair for the link and the info!

You're right. I had doubts about him being Sultan ar-Rukan when writing my comment. It's a good imitation, but heard better ones to be honest.

Assalamuaaliukum anonymous with the question , one time muaz bin jabal (ra) was leading the sahaba and recited very long and took his time, afterwards the sahaba complained and the prophet SAW confronted him to be light in the salah in jama3ah because there is the old the sick and weak, he also told him to elongate his salaahs by himslef as much as he wants (night prayers- when you are with your lord by yourself)
