As far as I know, Shaykh Shuraim is the Chief Judge in Makkah..He has a whole lot of responsibilities. Also, due to security reasons, he does not lead regular prayers.. Even I am eager to hear atleast Fajr Salaah.. Hope so..

the above comment is absolutely incorrect, sheikh sudais is the chief of all imams and he's the chief member of the makkah and madinah's Committee group and sheikh shuraim is just the Na'ib (Deputy) of sheikh sudais

Sheikh Shuraim is no longer a Judge, he is a dean at Umm al Qura University.
I think shiekh sudais is chief of Imam's in masjid al-haram and shiekh shuraim is executive chief of imam's in masjid al-haram.
