الحصين والسديس وخاشقجي يختارون المؤذنين الجدد بالمسجد النبويأصدر الرئيس العام لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي معالي الشيخ/ صالح بن عبد الرحمن الحصين قراراً بتعيين خمسة مؤذنين للمسجد النبوي الشريف بناءً على محضر اللجنة التي أوصت بترشيحهم.
والجدير بالذكر أن الرئيس العام أصدر توجيهاً بتشكيل لجنة برئاسته وعضوية معالي النائب لشؤون المسجد النبوي الشيخ/ عبد العزيز بن عبد الله الفالح وفضيلة الشيخ الدكتور/ عبد الرحمن بن عبد العزيز السديس إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام وشيخ المؤذنين بالمسجد النبوي الشيخ / عبد الرحمن بن عبد الإله خاشقجي وسعادة الأستاذ/محمد بن عبد الكريم القويفلي المستشار والمشرف العام على مكتب الرئيس العام أميناً عاماً للجنة وقد رشحت اللجنة لنيل شرف رفع الأذان من مسجد رسول الله في المدينة المنورة كل من :
1- أشرف بن محمد بن حمزة عفيفي.
2- إياد بن أحمد بن عباس شكري.
3- سعود بن عبد العزيز بن حسين بخاري.
4- عبد المجيد بن سلامه بن عوده السريحي.
5- عمر بن نبيل بن حمزة سنبل.
وقد أوصاهم معالي الرئيس العام بتقدير أهمية وشرف وعظم المسؤولية والالتزام بما عليهم من مسؤولية هذا الشرف

The General President of The Two Grand Mosques chaired a Committee to choose new Muadhins for Al Masjid Al Nabawi. The Comittee met nearly 30 muadhins, and the most suitable will be chosen after listening to their voices and asking few questions related to their job. The Comittee included Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahmaan al Sudays, Imam and Khateeb at Masjid al Haraam, and the "Shaykh of the muadhins", Abdur Rahmaan Khaashiqjee.

Is there anyway to recommend some good Muadhin(s) or may be even propose ourself for being a Muadhin and go through the testing process? If yes, then what is the procedure?

Subhaanallah! Madinah imams and muadhins have been the same for many years now, so it's surprising that they've appointed 5 new ones. It could be because the existing muadhins have other commitments. I know that a couple of them are lecturers at Madinah University.

It is worth mentioning that the General President issued a directive to form a committee under his chairmanship and membership of HE the Deputy for the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh / Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah al-Faleh and Sheikh Dr. / Abd al-Rahman bin Abdul Aziz al-Sudais Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque and Sheikh muezzins Masjid Nabawi Sheikh / Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Ilah Khashoggi HE Mr. / Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Alquivela Chancellor and General Supervisor of the Office of the President as Secretary-General of the Committee was nominated by the Committee for the honor of calling for prayer from the Mosque of the Messenger of God in the Medina of:
1 - Ashraf Bin Mohammed Bin Hamza Afifi.
2 - Iyad bin Abbas bin Ahmed Shukri.
3 - Saud bin Abdul Aziz bin Hussein Bukhari.
4 - Abdul Majeed bin Salamah bin Odeh Surayhi.
5 - Ben Omar, Nabil Ben Hamza Simbel.
Has commanded them Excellency President General has estimated the importance of honor and great responsibility, and commitment to them is the responsibility of this honor

u have to be at a certain 'level' to become a muadhin, not just anyone can become.
