Assalaamu alaikum,

Haramain Recordings apologize for the tragic mistake and confusion. The sheikh who used to sit on the wheelchair, whom we had reported has passed away, is actually still alive Alhamdulillah. May Allah grant him a long life, cure him from his illnesses and give him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.
Once again we apologize for this mistake and confusion.

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullah

Asalamalikum
yesterday when i saw Him on the wheelchair I was also shocked, but very happy to see him alive and well. Because last year I saw him in every Taraweeh prayer personally. And Inshallah next year I will be planning to go and Inshallah may Allah grant him a long and healthy life so we can see him again. I know people make mistakes and its good to acknowledge your mistake and correct it. Subhanallah.

A lot of people rely on Haramain recordings for information. Thats why it is very important any news from reliable sources and not just guesses or hearsay before publishing.

The Prophet (s) advised against spreading anything we hear.
