Maybe Sh Hudaify wont be leading in Taraweeh in Ramadhan because he has all the Salaat leading upto it just like Sh Ghazzawi in Makkah. Maybe his son will take his place?
I doubt it. Shaykh Hudhaify is the leading Imaam in Madina Al Munawwarah. Since the time he has been appointed as Imaam in the 90's, he's always there leading prayers, till this day, Maashaa Allah. Even though some may not be fond of his voice, but his tajweed is outstanding, and just him not as an Imaam of Masjidun Nabawiyy, it just wouldn't feel right. I'm sure all would agree on that. Just how Makkah wouldn't be the same with Shaykhs Sudays and Shuraim, same with Madinah Al Munawwarah. Shaykhs Hudhaify and Budayr beautify Masjid An Nabwaiyy even more. That's my opinion.
