Sheikh Hudhaify addressed a recurring problem in masjids today. After the Asr prayer, he urged the followers to switch mobile phones off, or keep them on silent mode. He was obviously distracted during the prayer.
SubhanAllah! I wish someone had recorded that. This is true, lots of people do leave their phones on during the Salaah, ESPECIALLY IN THE PROPHET SALALAAHU 'ALAYHI WA SALLAMS MASJID? Ya Allah!.
I was back in Saudi only last week and saw some people behave atrociously in the harams re their mobile phones. I actually saw one person answer his phone whilst in salah! Subhan allah. What can be that important that we cant wait 10 mins? Is that how impatient we have become. I wish someone would get rid of the phones in all masaajid! Lets remember that we are in the hands of Allah subhanu wa ta ala in salah! Allahumma zakkir naa wa nusinaa, Allah remind us if we forget. Ammen
